From our predetermined meeting point at the cruise terminal. We then drive for 30 minutes to Cockleshell beach at the Southeast Peninsula.
On our way to the beach, you have the option of stopping at Timothy Hill which is the narrowest part of the island. Here is where you can the island sitting between two large bodies of water - the Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean Sea.
We also stop at White House Bay where there is a mega yacht marina. During the winter months, it’s for you to see as many as twenty mega yachts. Lots of these multi-million dollar private yachts are vacation homes for the rich and famous.
The island mainly has black sand beaches due to the volcanic eruption over four hundred years ago. However, at the Southeast Peninsula, there are white sand beaches. One of the best beaches on the island is CockleShell beach which is over two miles long. This is the closest point to both islands which are separated by two miles. The Southeast Peninsula is very important to the island's tourism industry.
At Cockleshell Beach, entice your taste buds with dishes from beachside restaurants such as Reggae Beach Bar & Grill or Spice Mill, or maybe you'd want to enjoy a relaxing day at the beach. If you're feeling a little adventurous, the offerings of water sports excursions can give you that fix.

After meeting you at the Gold Mind store at Port Zante we then proceed to the air conditioned van.
We travel around historical Basseterre and then head to Cockleshell Beach via the Kennedy Simmonds Highway on the Southeast Peninsula.
Meeting location: I will meet you at the cruise ship port in Basseterre.
After the cruise ship has docked at Port Zante and you disembark walk straight through the archway where the dispatchers are.
I will be on your left hand side by the store called the Gold Mind.
I will be there with a Sunflower sign in my hand.
End location: The tour ends when you get back to the cruise terminal.
